What materials does Somatic Earthwear focus on?
SOMAE is designed around soft, body-aware clothing made with natural-fibre-focused fabrics such as organic cotton, linen and lyocell, depending on the garment. We choose fabrics with comfort, breathability, movement & everyday wearability in mind.

Why are garments offered through pre-order or limited production?
As a new brand, we are intentionally beginning with pre-orders and limited small-batch production rather than producing large quantities before demand is known. This approach allows us to develop each collection with care, manage inventory thoughtfully and focus on quality as our garments move through production.

How are SOMAE garments made?
Our garments are being produced in limited batches through our manufacturing partner in Indonesia. Each piece moves through development, material sourcing, construction and quality review before it is shipped to customers. You can learn more about our manufacturing partner and process here.

Production, Order Timeline & Shipping

Many pieces are offered through a pre-order model so we can begin production with clearer demand information and maintain a strong focus on garment quality.

Your order reserves a piece from our next small-batch production run, scheduled for October 2026.

Because each batch is produced intentionally and in limited quantities, orders are expected to ship within approximately 8–12 weeks after production begins.

You’ll receive tracking as soon as your order is on its way.

Orders may be canceled within a limited window during the production period. Please contact our support team for assistance.

While we aim to meet estimated timelines, delays may occur due to factors such as fabric availability or quality control. In these cases, we will provide updates and revised shipping information.

This approach allows us to create garments with care, attention to quality and a continued focus on body-aware design.

Cancellations, Refunds & Returns

Items purchased during the pre-order phase are eligible for a refund up until the production start date. The current production timeline is scheduled for October 2026, meaning you may request a refund any time before production begins in October 2026, or after the item is delivered.

After delivery, the item will once again be eligible for a refund in accordance with our standard return policy.

To initiate a return, items but be unworn, unwashed items within 30 days of delivery.

Once your return request is approved, instructions will be provided for sending your item back to us.

To be eligible for a return, items must:

• Be unworn and unwashed
• Be free of odors, stains, or signs of wear
• Have all original tags attached
• Be returned in their original packaging where possible

Returns that do not meet these conditions may not be eligible for refund.

Customers are responsible for the return costs.

Once the returned item has been received and inspected, refunds will be issued to the original payment method. After the item has been received by us, please allow 5-12 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution.

If you need to exchange for a different size, we will do our best to accommodate exchanges depending on available inventory.

Because Somatic Earthwear garments are produced in limited quantities, exchanges are subject to stock availability.

We suggest ordering two sizes in your original purchase order, then returning the one that doesn't fit. This will ensure you get the garment you want.

SomaticSeam Mapping
