Pre-Orders, Returns & Refunds

At Somatic Earthwear, every garment is intentionally designed and responsibly produced using premium natural fibers. To reduce waste and overproduction, many of our pieces are offered through a pre-order and made-to-order model, with garments produced in limited batches.

Pre-Order Refunds

Pre-order items are reserved for our upcoming small-batch production and are non-cancellable and non-refundable once an order is placed, except where required by applicable law.

By placing a pre-order, you acknowledge the estimated production and shipping timeline displayed at checkout and in your order confirmation email. If we are unable to fulfill your order within the stated timeframe, we will provide any cancellation or refund options.

Our current production run is scheduled to begin at the end of October 2026, with orders estimated to ship in January 2027.

After your order has been delivered, it becomes eligible for return under our standard return policy outlined below.

Returns After Delivery

To request a return under our standard return policy, please contact us within 14 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a standard return, items must:

Be unworn and unwashed.
Be free of stains, odors, or signs of wear.
Have all original tags attached.
Be returned in their original packaging whenever possible.
Damage resulting from improper care is not considered a manufacturing issue, and we are not able to accept returns for items not properly cared for.

Items that do not meet these requirements may not qualify for a refund.

A prepaid return shipping label will be provided, and the cost of the label will be deducted from your refund amount.

You are responsible for returned items until they arrive back at our warehouse.

We reserve the right to refuse returns based on item condition or if terms are not met.

Please note that customers in the EU may have additional rights under the EU Right of Withdrawal that differ from our standard Return Policy.
Where permitted by applicable law, customers exercising their EU Right of Withdrawal are responsible for return shipping costs.

Exchanges

If you need a different size, we'll do our best to accommodate an exchange based on available inventory.

Because our garments are produced in limited quantities, exchanges are subject to stock availability.

You are responsible for the cost of shipping your original item back to us. We cover the cost of shipping your replacement item to you.

You are responsible for returned items until they arrive back at our warehouse.

We reserve the right to refuse returns based on item condition or if terms are not met.

To help ensure you receive the size you want, we recommend ordering two sizes and returning the one that doesn't fit.

⁠If your desired exchange item is out of stock, we will contact you, and your order will be treated as a return. You will be offered store credit or a full refund.

Return Shipping

Exchanges: We cover the cost of shipping your replacement item to you. You are responsible for the cost of shipping your original item back to us.

Refund Processing

Once your returned item has been received and inspected, your refund will be issued to your original payment method.

Once a refund has been approved and processed by Somatic Earthwear, the refund may take several business days to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution.

Refund processing times may vary based on order status, production commitments, and other business circumstances. We will process approved refunds as soon as reasonably possible and provide confirmation once the refund has been issued.
