What materials does Somatic Earthwear focus on?
SOMAE is designed around soft, body-aware clothing made with natural-fibre-focused fabrics such as organic cotton, linen and lyocell, depending on the garment. We choose fabrics with comfort, breathability, movement & everyday wearability in mind.

Why are garments offered through pre-order or limited production?
As a new brand, we are intentionally beginning with pre-orders and limited small-batch production rather than producing large quantities before demand is known. This approach allows us to develop each collection with care, manage inventory thoughtfully and focus on quality as our garments move through production.

How are SOMAE garments made?
Our garments are being produced in limited batches through our manufacturing partner in Indonesia. Each piece moves through development, material sourcing, construction and quality review before it is shipped to customers. You can learn more about our manufacturing partner and process here.

Many pieces are offered through a pre-order model so we can begin production with clearer demand information and maintain a strong focus on garment quality.

Due to this process, orders are expected to ship within approximately 3–6 months from the time of purchase. Customers will receive updates throughout production, including notifications when items are ready to ship.

Orders may be canceled within a limited window during the production period. Please contact our support team for assistance.

While we aim to meet estimated timelines, delays may occur due to factors such as fabric availability or quality control. In these cases, we will provide updates and revised shipping information.

This approach allows us to create garments with care, attention to quality and a continued focus on body-aware design.

Because each item is made to order, we begin production shortly after purchase.

Orders may be canceled for a full refund within 72 hours of purchase. After this window, orders enter production and can no longer be guaranteed for cancellation or refund.

If you need assistance after this period, please contact us at support and we will do our best to help depending on production status.

Once an order has shipped, it is no longer eligible for cancellation and falls under our standard return policy.
Items that are purchased in the pre-order phase are eligible for a refund or exchange after delivery.

To initiate a return, items but be unworn, unwashed items within 30 days of delivery.

Once your return request is approved, instructions will be provided for sending your item back to us.

To be eligible for a return, items must:

• Be unworn and unwashed
• Be free of odors, stains, or signs of wear
• Have all original tags attached
• Be returned in their original packaging where possible

We currently ship to Canada, United States, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Sweden, Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Findland, Hong Kong, Singapore, & Japan.

We try to include taxes in our prices to avoid extra costs. International orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or import fees, which are the responsibility of the customer, and delivery times may vary depending on customs processing.
